Van Camp Coach Williams I'Ve got him The Trojans ended the 1957 season with a record of 3-4-1 and although this is not the best it is still good. Under the direction ofa new coach and with an entirely new offense, the Trojans started the season by getting romped over by a non-league Toledo teamgf and ended by defeating another Toledo team in one of the most exciting games of the season. The team ended in a tie for third place in the league. Two times the Trojans played the league champions and both times held their score down more than any other team in the league, and scored on them more than any other team in the league. The team will lose five boys through graduation. They are Danny Ford, Kenny Caris, Jim Kurfess, Jerry McCoy, and Lee Sprinkleg but next year's team should prove better because of experience.
