The G.A.A. was headed this year by President Marian Steger who was assisted by Naomi Lineback, vice-presidentg Coline Wellbaum, secre- taryg and Pat Wallace, treasurer. It was again sponsored' by Mrs. Anna Wallace. Among the many activities of the G.A.A. this year were volley tennis, bowling, and softball. The organization also sponsored a Play Day in April. 6333 A

All the rest of the boys seem to be enioying themselves immensely except Jim Hammond, whose strained face dictates he is flexing his biceps cgoin. 1527 Under the expert guidance of President Bill Roberson, the Varsity Club had another big year. Assisting the president were Bill Sisco, vice- presidentg and True Seaborn, secretary-treasurer. Coach Jim McCon- naughy again served as faculty sponsor. The Varsity Club organized the gathering of wood for the Home- coming bonfire and, of course, presented its annual awards for out- standing athletic performances. To pay for these awards, the V.C. had to hawk decals and T-shirts like mad--as some of you remember.
