LQDWINHSIH QEXYSTZESJLQ EALLHIRIG As I was strolling through the tent grounds with a sack of popcorn clutched in my hand, I passed the fortune-telling tent. There, Swami Stevens fBob, that isj grabbed hold of my collar and pulled me into its dark interior. As I gazed into the crystal ball, I spied several broken down trapeze artists. Many happenings focused before my eyes. The first thing it revealed was William Sisco who is now a professor at Podunk U. He's preparing a lec- ture on the Evils of Labor. As I look further, I see the famous fashion de- signer, Marie Diehl, in her home at Palm Springs sketching men's bathing suits fwith the men in them, natch!J At the Old Bachelor's Home I find Nurse Marian Steger tripping forth on her rounds as head bed pan carrier. She loves her interesting work. As I stop at the Sewing Circle Burlesque nite club in I..A., I find featured Nancy fI'Iep-catj Briggs and her Knit One, Purl Two jazz band. She is still playing her old faithful clarinet and fills in when they are in need of an extra chorus girl. It is hard to make out who this stunning blond at Jones' Beach is. but as I look closer, I see it is none other than Beverlv Simpson. who is still having her successful parties. This one happens to be a clambake. Bv the way they call her Perle Mesta Jr. now! Glenna Garrison. who is a successful wife and mother. has started fpart timej giving singing lessons ro old retired opera singers for pin money. What ls the Best Tvpe of Bones to Give Dogs? That's the title of the thesis True Seaborn is writing for his doctor's degree at the Bryn Maher Veterinarian College. Chad Smith. famous orator. is seen giving a speech to the W.c.T.U. on Models Anonymous. Gasp! Whv there's Don Grau at Fort Knox! From the looks of it. he has a verv important job. Ah! Now I can see--he's directing five floor cleaners as thev sweep up the unused gold dust. Oh! Oh! Don, don't touch those paper bills. Again I gaze into the crystal ball onlv to see an- other of the class of 'SL It's Sea-Bteeze employee, Holly I-Iurlocker, who has just been promoted from head fish fryer to deep sea diver. Her motto: Never Let a Fresh Fish Get You Down! Now the crystal ball seems to be getting hotter. No wonder! We are approaching Africa! And there's Ronnie Cheetah Holliman on his Abba Dabba Hon- eymoon. That swish I heard must have been Irma Nieto in a bashed up green Chevy-she must still be learning to drive His car! Now I can hear much cheering and a few Ban- zai's from the opposition. There goes that gruesome twosome, Bill Fuller and Bill Roberson, playing for once as if their lives depended upon it in The Rice Bowl, Korea. There's Wilma Dansby drawing top pay at M.I.T., Moronic Institution at Tehachapi. She's teaching a course in Escape' Literature. A big black cloud of smoke begins to .clear and I can see Barry Farrah chewing on a stogie playing for big stakes at the Corner Snooker Parlor. Barbara Hall seems to be doing well for herself- she's modeling for Esquire playing cards in a tiger skin bathing suit. Jack Hackman is again in training for the annual Sadie Hawkins' Race. A big splash arises before my eyes and I recognize Virginia Samuels behind the haze. She has just saved another life guard! At the new Rose-'n'-Lee Ballroom I see exhibi- tionist Rosie Garcia. Who is she dancing with? Wilma Williams and Roselyn Keeling have just graduated from a course in Home for Happy Hus- bands with the highest honors. Smells from a nearby bakery issue forth through the crystal ball. I can see Audry, herself, baking some of her famous Hot Cross Buns. Now I see Denny's Dilly Hair-dos. a beauty shoppe, where Miss Jackie Denny, proprietor. is doing up Killer Cobb's hair. Killer wears a robe sym- bolic of former davs-it has two barbells on it. Last but not least fha-haj I find Eileen Robinson head of the division at Patton for old, mentally un- balanced high school teachers. Ironically, it appears she's having trouble with her former fourth period library teacher! C23l C
