PANAMA and . . . THE BIG DITCH For many, it was the first time. For some, it was an old sight. However it was accepted, when TRIPOLI made her way through the Panama Canal on the way to the West Coast, it was a trip to remember. Liberty in Panama was something to remember, too, as the entire occasion was a startling change from the life in Pascagoula and Philadelphia.
