It is the scene of long research, prepara- tion of reports, and just plain hrowsing. llcre. refer- ence books provide fundamental facts. fiction delights the imaginative, and periodicals encourage interest in timely affairs. Devoted lihrary aides, under the super- vision of Sister Carinclita Marie, keep circulation lively. These extra efforts assist in the acquisition of knowl- edge required to obtain membership in the National Honor Society, an organization in which thc most out- standing of our Students strive to keep the torch of true scholarship and high ideals hurning lmrightly.

Ifor this purpose. then. the Sodality of Our l.adv has In-en inaugnratedithat each student may attain her goal ol personal sanctihcation. and love of neiglilvor. A visit to tlhapel and recitation of the litany are daily practices ol the Sodalist. Tradition sets reception date following a three-day retreat. and calls to mind the yearly procession to the Circle, honoring Mary, Queen of heaven and earth. Collalvorating with the C.S.M.C., the Sodality pours out its efforts in wholehearted support ol- those less fortunate. The Christmas spirit at 'lirinity is ushered in on knitting needles as the girls prepare mann gar- ments, vvhile canned goods and clothing furnish ap- propriate gifts for needy families. Once ai year the gym rollicks with Mardi tlras merriment. seen and heard in far corners of the earth via the Ilisliop's Fund. Iffaster baskets to St. Yinct-nt's and paekages for the aged are other charities done in the spirit ol' Christ.
