FACULTY Our faculty is composed of seven Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and four lay teachers, with Sister Gertrude of the Trinity as Superior of our Sisters and Principal of our school. A Sister of Notre Dame is an apostle, and strives for an elhcacious apostolate. She sees that she must aim at becoming ill her own degree, a handmaid of the Lord. She shares her spiritual treasures with souls for whom Christ is thirsting, and her knowledge of sciences and arts with seekers after truth. We count ourselves fortunate to be among these. Our lay teachers have been chosen because of superior qualities and capabilities, and we have found in Mrs. Gentry, Miss Kramer, Miss Reinecke and Mr. Streett, examples of devotion to our school and its interests.
