Professor Rose retired after 30 years on the faculty at Tri-State, an enviable mark of dedication and loyalty. The Board of Trustees honored him with the rank of Professor Emeritus. The campus will be diminished with- out his tonsorial elegance, his urbane with, his scholarship, and his concern for students.

Many young men have passed under Doc's tutelage during those years, and the athletic program has grown and matured under his direction.
