It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. It is well to give when asked, but it is better to give masked, through understanding. 3 fxqm I Dear Graduates, Few occasions in life measure up to the importance of graduation from high school. This is particularly 11'ue in our country. In many other lands only the elite go beyond this point in education. In future years, as you pause to reflect upon your days in this schoo we hope you will see that our society has been based upon education. If we continue to transmit the right to free public education for our children, our society will be sustained. You have been the receptors of a priceless heritage. It is now up to you to see that this gift is passed on to others. The future is awesome. It has always been so, but when gigantic deeds were needed in this nation, giants emerged. We feel certain that you are best equipped to meet your personal destinies because you have been educated in a free society. Best wishes for a life which will give you an opportmiity to exhibit your s1J:ength and wisdom with courage and faith in the future. S inc ere ly, M X f CQVJZV 4 is E , Q isis A E' . Where, they wonder, is the money going to come from for their Washington trip? Probably the best way to earn money is the magazine campaign. This year the "gals and guys" competed against each other, and competition be- tween the two teams was fierce. Every year the Seniors sponsor a Senior-Faculty game. This provided a lot of laughs as the teachers and Seniors battled to see who would be the basketball champions of the ye ar. This year the Seniors also sponsored the game between the Harlem Wizards and the Tri- Valley alumni. The Wizards are amazing basketball players and played to a capacity crowd. The Seniors sold refreshments at all home basketball games and would like to express their thanks to Mis. Stratton, Mrs. Faye Brown, Mrs. Kaufman, and all the others who gave up their time to help make this a success. All these activities not only helped us raise money, but they also created a stronger bond of friendship among the Seniors. BASKETBALL mmm" HAR!-EM WIZARDS ' sxrunolw, macu an, mo - :zoo nn.
