Through the years we have gradually clhlbed from the lowly frog to the intricacies of chemistry and physics, from JULIUS CAESAR to MAC- BETH, from the quadratic formula to the volume of a Sphere. Some of it has not been pleasant - the smell in chemistry lab, reciting in geometry, and semester exams. The memory of these unpleasant things will soon vanish, though, and we shall remember with pleasure the times when, the 'experiment came out right, when we finished the' theorem, or when we got an A on the exam. g ,REE We, ,the TRICINOCA staff, hope that we can help Itofpre- serve these happy memories, and that you having this book as much as we have enjoyed it., 'bi 4,3 . After a srforeless first half. they were over- come in the second hy 20 to 0. This proved to be the pattern for the sea- son. In their second game, the Panth- ers absorbed their worst licking ot' the year from Martinsville, The next Week the Panthers played perhaps their best game befoie going down to Reidsville, state AA ehamps. 19-0. and in their next game rolled over Walk- ertown 21-O. Sueeessive defeats were suffereci at the hands of Lexington. Gray, Mount Airy, and Mineral Springs, Then, in the final game ot' the season against Hanes, aided by H. C.
