'Come on girls we've got to sound ike 35 kids. Each year hundreds of students from all over the Western Tennessee area meet st Memphis State University to compete for the title of All-West Tennessee division singers. Each student learns 1-9 songs and is iudged in competition. These eight were chosen from Trezevant to ioln in the 200 member All-West Tennessee chorus. THE CONCERT CHOIR This smiling group is Trezevant's Concert Choir. Thirty-four voices harmonize to make the beautiful sounds we hear when they perform.

The students must be recommended by one of the spdnsors governing publications, they must be in the upper third of their class standing, they must have done superior work in some phase of iour- nalism such as writing, editing, business management, or production. A new member, Benita Clark, is busily at work. New members were recently inducted into the Quill and scroll. They were: Mary Flack, Linda Fitzgerald Marie Gillespie, Cathy Prewett, Judy Howell, Charles Varner, Mary Ann Lowdermilk, and Irene Trenz fseatedj. Here are a few of the members at their installation banquet.
