Therefore be at peace with whatever you conceive Him to whatever your labors and aspir all the noise and confusion of at peace with yourself. For wi its sham, drudgery and broke it ' s still a beautiful world. — Anonymous As Christ gave His life for us, so let us constantly give our lives to others in our daily pursuit of Christlikeness. — Kim King Mr. Finley Knowles People are fun. They make life what it is. To go through college without learning - to enjoy friends is to not really go through college. Carl Eby for his patience and hard work in getting the pictures to me on time. Harold McGeehee and American Yearbook Company for their hard work in publishing this yearbook. Sudlow Photography for prompt service and delivery of student portraits. 273 274 Kemember that what you believe will depend very much upon what you are. Noah Porter My Closing page and my last word. I have so many memories that I want to print. I have memories of the frustrations and upsets of being editor. However, the success of finishing this Darda far outweigh those. I have memories — sentimental memories and probably silly memories to any one but myself. Yet. I now remember along with my total exhaustion, the smiles, and the people who smiled. A very special thank you to Howard Wall — my adviser. I couldn ' t have asked for a better adviser; thank you for all your time and hard work. To Carl Eby and his staff of photographers — I say thank you. You always came through. Carol — well what can I say. You always lifted my spirits just when I needed it. I ' ll never forget our many trips to Birmingham and all the evenings spent on the patio. By the way. I hear 1982 is a good year for chips. To my parents and my sister — thank you for your support and encouragement. As you look through this yearbook. I hope it will bring back many memories to you. They may be sentimental or maybe silly, but which ever, these memories will one day be one of your most treasured possessions. Becky J. Gillespie — Editor 280
