XVack and Mr. james Leslie, our counselors, maclc them strong favorites with the pupils of Towson High. They were always ready to listen to students' problems anal if possible, give advice. Our librarians. Mrs. Sally Clevenger and Nliss Burleigh Kehler have always been reacly to assist students in the selection of books and in locating information. For their wisdom and unclcrstancling, we are very grateful to the entire faculty. Only with their co-operation have we been able to successfully complete our four years of high school life. Mrs. Payne, Nurse. l Mrs. Bressler, Clerk, Miss Manser, Sl'l'l'f'flll'll, Miss Chelton, Clerk. Miss Betty Mauser. the office secretary, and clerks, Mrs. Evelyn liressler and Miss Shirley Chelton capably handled all office work. Mrs. Elizabeth Payne, the school nurse. took care of the pupils who suffered minor injuries and illnesses.

During the past eight years, he has accomplished successfully his greatest task- reorganization of the school curriculum with the growth in school population. His efforts and keen desire to improve our school have made possible Towsonis rise to distinction. Miss Mary A. Litsinger, our new vice-principal, came to us via Sparks High and Towson junior High. Knowing many of the teachers and pupils when she arrived at Towson has made her position even more enjoyable. An excellent job was done by Mr. Austin Bittle, our administrative assistant, in handling the many details entrusted in his care. l MR. W. HORACE WHEELER Principal 6
