In an attempt to move smokers away from the doorways, and thereby ap- pease non-smokers, the Council placed No Smoking signs above one doorway on each little school, hoping for voluntary compliance. TOP RIGHT: intently listening to a luncheon partner is Greg Nielson, learning disabilities teacher. TOP: In order to unblock the doors so that non-smokers could pass through easi- ly, StuCo passed a revision to the smoking policy with smoking being allowed only in front of certain doors. RIGHT: A special Grandparents' Day was held with the gradpar- ents visiting the students' classes and eating lunch in the cafeteria. Evaluation of results was not re- leased by StuCo. The Council initiated a Grandpar- ents' Day, but only a few students hosted their grandparents at the special program in their honor. Tra- ditional dances, teacher evaluations and other projects occupied much of the Council's time and energy.
