Giilulile GEJLPQQ Q0 worm- foil Q QJEPEEJEJEEJYU biluue Qiyun samba Reaching goals such as the Olym- pics, Wimbledon, the NFL or the NBA are not impossible dreams, but it takes a lot of work to get there. Not everyone will be an Olympic star, but anyone can keep himself in good physical shape. P.E. classes offered activities such as archery, tennis, weight training, volleyball and aerobics. Mrs. Peggy Marmet from Washburn University and Jerry Wright produced a slide- tape program designed to help con- cepts students learn how their bo- dies function and the importance of keeping them physically fit. Con- cepts classes worked on lab activi- ties which allowed students to know what to do to improve their fitness. Other P.E. teachers were Mrs. Su- san Affolter, Ron Stull, Frank Walton and Mrs. Cindy Medill. Even though most students took P.E. as a requirement, their loudest complaint was about the gross, grubby, abused blue gym suits the girls were forced to wear.
