o-Tech Offers aried Training Cooperative Industrial Train- ing gave on-the-job training in fields such as laboratory assist- ance to auto repair. Two hours were spent in the classroom. One class reviewed skills to be used on the job, and the second class covered employee rela- tions and the understanding of job forms. Each student was required to work at least three hours a day and earned the min- ium wage. Debaters 4th In State Meet With the effort of more than sixty debaters, twice as many as last year, and with the advice of Mrs. Dana Hensley, debate coach, the squad won 81 awards including first place at the 4A District Tournament. Plac- ing fourth, Topeka West was repre- sented by Clee Arnold, joel Gin- sparg, jeff Light and William Weissbeck. The 1975 debate topic was Re- solved: That the United States should significantly change the method of selecting the presidential and vice-presidential candidates. 96
