Librarians Care About Students Why is the Topeka West li- brary one of the most devel- oped libraries in Kansas? Pri- marily because the librarians care. Mike Printz and Miss Marcia Lundin take a personal interest in the students, needs. The biggest event of the year was receiving a 86,000 grant from the Shawnee County Bi- centennial Committee. The money ,was used to purchase materials for a unique two-hour Kansas history class being of- fered next year. The class will give students the opportunity to go out and visit actual land- marks in Kansas. 2' ABOVE: indulging herself in an interesting book is librarian Marcia Lundin.
