Part of the job for Mrs. jerry Blocher, B School secretary, is to answer the telephone. Receiving messages, taking care ofthe lost and found articles, writing call and admit slips and typing are only a small part of the job she does. i . . 3 it --'is-i fT .. Caught in the action of checking and stamping federal forms is Mrs. Lola Page, E School secretary. Secretaries Do arious Tasks Topeka West secretaries worked with counselors, sly proctors and Chargers who helped keep their day busy and amusing. Even though much of the work was the same each day, it wasn't always so easy to handle. Secretaries took care of rec- ording attendance, handling admit slips, correspondence for the counselors and assistant principals. They also prepared downslips and attendance cards to be mailed and supervised devious proctors. in W 12 I l I V Putting rental books in their proper order is Mrs. Donna Hayek, D School. xv 'l , 2, ,. Faculty Shows Charger Spirit The Topeka West chain of faculty gained 18 new links this year. Together the 68 teachers tried to give every student the benefit of an education whether he chose it or not. Faculty members as groups participated in such things as a get acquainted covered dish dinner, a KSU-KU football game, Christmas and retired employees' dinners and the Principal'-s Advisory Council.
