KILL 4 Vicki Obley, thrilled by the announcement of being named as the 1974 Topeka West Homecoming queen, was crowned at halftime cert-monies during the Shawnee Mission Northwest football game. 129 Lori Bruton is escorted by Ed Degan during halftime at Homecoming at Moore Bowl. Floats Highlight Royality Parade Reflections of the Past, 1974 Homecoming, saw the first Homecoming parade. It featured floats that competed for prizes for most colorful, most original and most spirited. French Club, Spanish Club and debate squad each won 815. Senior Vicki Obley was crowned queen at the football game with Shawnee Mission Northwest. Her attendants were Leslie Green and Lori Bruton, '75, The Chargers lost the game, 20-14. Fortress pro- vided the music for the Queen and her attendants.
