Phys Ed Classes Keep In Shape Girls' physical education classes were headed by two new teachers, Mrs. Cindy Boyles and Mrs. Peggy Marmet. Their program stressed helping individuals know why physical activity and exercises were important as well as knowing how to perform them. i'The girls were tested in the areas of cardi-vascular fitness, muscular strength and endur- ance and flexibility. Students were retested at the end of the year to determine improve- mentf' said Mrs. Boyles. Boys, phys ed participated in activities such as badmitten, handball, shuffleboard, and soccer. Mr. Allen and Mr. Swartz were joined by new ar- rival Mr. Wright.
