Language Arts Offers Variety To learn to communicate in society and to understand and to appreciate the written lan- guagen were two purposes of language arts courses. Composition 1,2,3, introduc- tion to Hterature, creative xvrh- ing, grammar and research, and accelerated reading were among the 33 language arts courses taught by 15 teachers. Working through distractions, Diane Kroosvh- en, co-editor, crops yearbook pictures. ,: 'r ,ill - Chargers Learn journalism Skills VVriting outlines and copy, worrying about deadlines, and striving towards journalistic goals were some of the respon- sibilities carried through by the Chevalier and Campus View staffs. The 1975 Chevalier neared completion on a day by day ba- sis under the leadership of Di- ane Kroeschen and Cynthia Rischer. The Campus View staff cov- ered school events and outside student interest stories un- der the editorship of Anita Miller and Mary Teresa Doyle during the first semister.
