Dec. 19-And so another term passes. Merry Christmas to youse guys! Same to the masters? jan. 6-Christmas cheer is past. Lord help the poor working man. jan. 7- Abdul de Bull Bull Bettes returns to school with a greatly enlarged harem on his hands. jan. 8-Mr. Shaw takes charge of a French class. The class learns something foreign to the French language. Stop me if you've heard this one. jan. 9-10:15! Mr. Sasscer says that the basement boys are able to take care of them- selves, and he plugs up his ears with cotton. jan. 10-Cold today. Typical Dixie weather. Sherburne asks Tiny Price if it's cold up where he is. jan. 11-Diggs and Shepherd try to look scholarly at the semi-annual meeting of the Cum Laude Society. Dr. Brush misses' several boxes of his nickel cigars. jan. 12-Jack Beaudry refuses a movie contract, saying that his education must come first, but that afterwards he might consider the offer if he has time. fan. 15-Webb sees and reads Bad Girl for the first time. Wonders why they allow such books at Tome. fan. 14- Mutt James and jeff Rae are separated for 120 minutes on account of classes. Go in a body to fix it up with Dr. Brush. jan. 15-Woodbury, star soccer player, trips over ball and breaks his ankle. fan. 16-Dr. Tooker tells Ford and Rorty that coffee should be put in cups and not on tablecloth. jan. 17-Murphy had a hard night in Baltimore. Sleeps till 11 o'clock and tells Mr. Bates that certain things had to be done. jan. 18-Gene Lockhart entertains the student body. The Tome Orchestra and Palmros also ran. jan. 19- Bug Face Barron sings sweetly during the movies. The movies weren't so good either. A jan. 20-Stiemle, Tome sheik and Tome bum, enjoys the afternoon in the company of the fair sex of Port Deposit. jan. 21-Another week has departed. Cukor wants to know where it went. fan. 22-Bill Easley starts talking up the dance. Sixty fellows and eight girls so far. fan. 23- Red McCord, social lion of Rochester, endorses Ed Pinaud and Listerine as essential assets to popularity. jan. 24-Freeman Hawrin has another date with local talent and decides that Maryland isn't so far behind Illinois after all. Ian. 25-Fesh Frish! But is it? jan. 26-Hawtin, R. F., and Boots Archer again utilize the fire-escape of Monroe House to advantage. jan. 27-Sunday. Does he expect us to believe that? 29-Deupree discovers he is a Pythian and tries to play basketball accordingly. 30-Olympians win first Society free-for-all by one point. Infirmary full of Pythians. 31-Mr. Bates suspects that someone has been smoking in the basement of Memo- rial. We don't suspect. 1-A new month. Cukor sends his other pair of pajamas to the laundry. 2-Gilman suffers defeat in two sports. johnny Harden pays his bills. 3-Zaring takes vocal lessons from Mr. Sellew. Will someone please put the cat out. 4-Joe Cantillon says he is serious. Anyhow, joe means well. 5-Murphy demonstrates the technique of the Yiddish Gazatz before an admir- ing audience. Fat White and jack Pearson foundered by Walters' question, Who is manager of the Swimming Team ? 6-Bob Hawk leaves these parts for a fortnightly sojourn in Toledo. Manager Easley seen in the vicinity of the swimming pool for the first time this ear. 7-Rain Zloday. Bad year for crops , says Farmer jones, thinking of the dear old homestead back in Oklahoma. 8-jimmy Wise loses his friendship with Mr. Beveridge as latter plasters him with 30 point handicap. 9-Soccer Team meets defeat at Gilman. They go en meme to drown their sorrow at the Gayety. 10-Cheney writes home for his Tux. Instead of Tux Mama Cheney sends lux. What lux some people have, says Goof Ward. 11-Blue Monday. Eight boys prepared. Masters delighted. 12-Seniors pose for animal crackers. Pete jenness and Phil Rorty shave for the occasion. 13-Photographer photographs. Mr. Beveridge scrutinizes affairs through a sec- ond-hand watch crystal. 14-Presley enters Karl's Barber Shop and asks for a shave. We fail to see the point of that. 15-A week until the Prom. Only a dozen injured around the mail boxes. Squeak Neil sees no occasion for such foolishness. 16-Be my Valentine! Dr. Tooker renews acquaintance with Cecilia, and Stub Hawrin exchanges greetings with Two Bit Lizzie . 17-Conland admits that if someone hadn't stepped on his foot he would have made the All-State Soccer Team. 18-Mr. Sellew threatens to shave his side-burns as the Glee Club becomes a bit discordant. Glee Club tries hard enough, what more does he want? 19-This is Tuesday. The dining room grows stranger by the hour. 20-This is Wednesday. Cottage boys are disturbed by rumors from Mrs. Bagley.
