The 1929 TRAIL Wada C nf i -Y i A f g bo' N ov. 25- Goof Ward has a crush on a certain damsel in a green hat. Hanway says he is welcome to her. That's what Nelson said last year. Nov. 26-Mr. Tuttle asks Spallholz if he talks like that at the table when he's home. Nov 27-Vant decides to send his trunk home for Thanksgiving. Nov 28-We're all off for four days of merry making! Dec. 2-Back again! Boone sees his last of Tome School and returns to his beloved Dec. Def. Der. Dec. Der. Der. Dec. Der. Der. Der. Dec. Dec. Dec. Der. Nov Nov. Nov. Baltimore for good. Jerry Nettleton and Boots Archer granted fort- night leave for Toledo and Belair, while uncounted members are confined to the campus. What a life! 3-- Mac Diggs and Mr. Arthur have a show down. It seems that Mac only got an 85 in Chem. last bi-weekly. 4-Rorty goes to the infirmary to recuperate. Miss Davis has different ideas. 5- Shifty Spallholz and Moto Biberman engage in hot Hstic encounter. Biberman completely gassed as well as battered. 6-jenness swears he won't shave before Christmas and maybe not then. Early visit of Santa Claus anticipated by Inn kids. 7- Texas Goodhue smokes a cigar. We hope he doesn't feel hurt. 8-Pat tries for two hours to open the doors of his shop only to discover he'd had the key in his pocket. 9--One slot machine check, one street car token, and a two cent stamp found in the collection plate, also about seventy-live pennies. We hope living is cheap in Armenia. 10-Spallholz declares that he shoveled gravel during the summer. Gravel and what else? 11--Merkle and Sellars test Mr. Basford's patience and depart for Home, Sweet Home. 12-Sherburne says he doesnit believe in Santa Claus. This younger generation is getting all out of bounds. 13- Dandruff Ducky, God's gift to women and the great necker from Great Neck, offers, for a nominal fee, to disclose to those who are interested, the art of brow-beating and seducing the fair sex. One at a time, fellows! 14-Tome Glee Club makes its first appearance of the year. Murphy provides the evening's entertainment. 15-Saturday night. Girdler takes his weekly bath. 16--Vant displays his power over women in a rumble seat, while Barron, Easley, Bettes, and Rorty look on in wondering amazement. Ward wishes that he had been there and berates above mentioned for failing to uphold Tome traditions. 18-Tome defeats Wilmington, 19-0. Mr. Beveridge receives a free dinner at Hotel DuPont. 20-Three girls have signilied their intention of attending the tea dance. Ignorant Rats implore Boone to do his stuff. 21- Madame Huetwell wants to have a date with Hodge. As yet the Madame is unsatiated, and Hodge wishes that he weren't so good looking. Dec. 19-And so another term passes. Merry Christmas to youse guys! Same to the masters? jan. 6-Christmas cheer is past. Lord help the poor working man. jan. 7- Abdul de Bull Bull Bettes returns to school with a greatly enlarged harem on his hands. jan. 8-Mr. Shaw takes charge of a French class. The class learns something foreign to the French language. Stop me if you've heard this one. jan. 9-10:15! Mr. Sasscer says that the basement boys are able to take care of them- selves, and he plugs up his ears with cotton. jan. 10-Cold today. Typical Dixie weather. Sherburne asks Tiny Price if it's cold up where he is. jan. 11-Diggs and Shepherd try to look scholarly at the semi-annual meeting of the Cum Laude Society. Dr. Brush misses' several boxes of his nickel cigars. jan. 12-Jack Beaudry refuses a movie contract, saying that his education must come first, but that afterwards he might consider the offer if he has time. fan. 15-Webb sees and reads Bad Girl for the first time. Wonders why they allow such books at Tome. fan. 14- Mutt James and jeff Rae are separated for 120 minutes on account of classes. Go in a body to fix it up with Dr. Brush. jan. 15-Woodbury, star soccer player, trips over ball and breaks his ankle. fan. 16-Dr. Tooker tells Ford and Rorty that coffee should be put in cups and not on tablecloth. jan. 17-Murphy had a hard night in Baltimore. Sleeps till 11 o'clock and tells Mr. Bates that certain things had to be done. jan. 18-Gene Lockhart entertains the student body. The Tome Orchestra and Palmros also ran. jan. 19- Bug Face Barron sings sweetly during the movies. The movies weren't so good either. A jan. 20-Stiemle, Tome sheik and Tome bum, enjoys the afternoon in the company of the fair sex of Port Deposit. jan. 21-Another week has departed. Cukor wants to know where it went. fan. 22-Bill Easley starts talking up the dance. Sixty fellows and eight girls so far. fan. 23- Red McCord, social lion of Rochester, endorses Ed Pinaud and Listerine as essential assets to popularity. jan. 24-Freeman Hawrin has another date with local talent and decides that Maryland isn't so far behind Illinois after all. Ian. 25-Fesh Frish! But is it? jan. 26-Hawtin, R. F., and Boots Archer again utilize the fire-escape of Monroe House to advantage. jan. 27-Sunday.
