Above mentioned catch their rest in vespets as Mr. Sellew puts his audience to sleep with soft Lydian airs. 5-A Tome master is seen running around the campus in his B.V.D.'s. Ask any member of the Cross Country Squad. . 6-Mr. Beveridge has bet an unknown sum of money that Smith will win the election. Murphy also anticipates increased pecuniary means as he listens for New York City. Ted Law is just as anxious as Murphy. Hoover or Smith? It is in the lap of the Gods. . 7-Bettes turns his amorous intentions elsewhere as Lee suffers from writer's cramps. 8-Murphy is still unable 'to convince Dr. Tooker that the election is not all that it should have been. . 9-Cukor has joined the Choir. Evidently Papa has shut down on the monthly allowance. 10-Mr. Beveridge puts on the airs of a Rockefeller as he sports a handsome Packard limousine of uncertain age. Jones remarks that the new era of Republican prosperity is beginning rather early. 11--Weil and Moore enjoy this balmy Sunday afternoon. They appear worried on the return of Mr. Klee, however, who has seen them five miles on the other side of Wilmington. 12-Cummings and Snibbe begin their Thanksgiving vacation rather early at the request of Dr. Brush. Madison House boys are grateful for the two weeks' vacation. 15-- Greek God Hodge says that Brazil is noted for its nuts. 14-Dr. Tooker announces that if Herby Heyn knew how to translate, write composition, and read sight, he might pass Latin in june. 15-Boone volunteers to supply the school with Baltimore girls for the Gilman tea dance. Certain old boys who remember the last June Prom are suspicious about those girls , 16--Merkle returns to school after an operation on his head. No improvement noticeable. 17-DeVausney is given an extra long vacation by Mr. Bates when discovered smoking in places verboten . N00. 22-Cross Country Team visits Philly. Spallholz buys almost every newspaper N011 Nov in the Quaker City. Incidentally, more good material for the Salem press. 23-Thanksgiving is near, also Gilman Day, and what's more a four day rest for the poor shovel. 24-Gilman Day!
