Go ROSPECTS for a good golf season were not very brlght due to the fact that not a letter man had returned to school However our team won the greater majorlty of thelr dual matches and played good golf m the tournaments The team conslsted of Captam Bez dek Connor Lanman and DlggS In the first match of the season the Blue and Whlte spllt even mth the W1lm1ngton Countrx Club atW1lm1ngton Delaware 9 9 Connor and Lanman play ed the best golf of the day Connor downed Baker former Ha1vard captaln and Lanman defeated Mr Hoopes Mr Chlckerlng fo1 mel South Atlant1c champlon conquered Bezdek 1 up IH a hard battle Dlggg and Schw artzenbach were off thelr game and both lost thelr matches On the 31st of Aprll Tome defeated Balt1more Poly 97 25 on the local course Bezdek Connol and Dlggs had a llttle trouble w1nn1ng thelr matches plax 1ng cons1stent golf all the tlme Lanman struck a snag ln Schllpp and had to be content mth a polnt and a half The next dax the Tome golfels smothered Woodberrx Forest by the NCOIC of 105 IV Agam Bevdek Connor and Dlggs experlenced llttle dlfllcultx 1n vunmng Schxxawenbach plaxlng fourth man spht ew en galn mg a point and a half On Max 5 Bex exldge Q tulf dlggels oxercame the Hlllendale Countu Club of Baltlmole on the lattel s course Most of the matches were won 638113 mth Bezdek turnmg 1n a low score of 78 The school golf champlonshlp was won by Connor after defeatlng Bezdek 1 up Both had easx sa1l1ng to reach the finals In the last match Bezdek shootmg a 35 golng out had Connor 3 down at the tu1n Connor 11100105 v K 9 .
