f1 HE February Prom th1s year was an affalr that reflected credlt 'Pl yy on those who had charge of the varlous arrangements and on S QA those who partlclpated 1n the f8St1V1t1eS The d1n1ng room was hifi? decorated ln beautlful style ln a color scheme of pxnk and pale J blue Wh1Ch was appreclated by all present The muslc fur nlsned by l1cCauley of Baltlmore was all that could be deslred and although a 11ttle lacklng 1n pep 1n the tea dances showed fine verve and splrxt 1n the Fr1day nlght dance The carnlval dance partlcularly wh1ch temporarily converted the scene lnto a good 1m1tat1on of a festlval scene at Nlce or New Orleans was one that w1ll be remembered for xts outstand1ng qualltles 1n both musxc and attractlveness The Dance Commlttee had se lected favors Wh1Ch dellghted the reclplents both male and female The souvenlrs furnlshed for the fa1r fem1n1ne guests were gllt dorlnes w1th the Tome seal 1n gllt on black leather on the l1d whlle the fellows recelved black leather wallets lmpressed Wlth the seal and capable of hold1ng far more monev than anv of them were left Wlth by Sunday We are sure the fellows all had a splendld tlme and we hope wlth some good grounds for the hope that the glrls also enjoy ed the OCCHSIOH wh1ch tnen presence ornamented and refined The dance started shortlv after ten the guests havmg attended the en tertalnment provlded by the Dramatlc and MUSICRI Clubs 1n Memorlal Hall Danclng was Kept up untll 3 30 a m Wlth one mterval durlng Wh1Ch an ap p6t1ZlI'lg' and well served supper was enjoyed A tea dance which was well attended was held on Fr1day afternoon 1n the Cage and proved an acceptable d1sh of hors d oeuvres for the p18Ce de reslstance IH the even1ng Another tea dance not so well attended or pep py and for good and sufliclent reasons took place on Saturday afternoon By baturday even1ng practlcally all the guests had departed and the cam pus resumed 1tS normal appearance and aCtlVlt1eS enrlched Wlth the pleas ant memorles of an extremely successful sprmg festlval DANCE COMMITTEE Gllfry Ward Frank A Bonsal Gordon Va1l John A Tompklns Jr Paul A Noeth John A Requaldt Jr Flnley B Rlggs If zghty thfee I , , ,T 9 il 5 - L .. .. if - 1 - ' .rz-n.s5m- fm FW ff T-J . . .
