Fourth Row: Gene Hubbard, Budge Devere, Gilbert Martinez, Frank Martinez, Billie Baker. The Frosh Brains Incorporated is a new organization this year organized by Miss Anita Kant, civics teacher. Members are stu- dents of the civics class. The F.B.I. is a civic minded organization, after having a big suc- cess by sponsoring a carnival, the proceeds were turned over to the cheerleaders for new sweaters. A huge success was the talent show the F.B.I. also sponsored. This show was an in- novation for TUHS and was enthusiastically received by townspeople and students. The FHA was very active this year under the leadership of Esther Montijo, the president. They held their annual Christmas Dance and Sweetheart Ball. Frances Rosen was elected District Chairman of Public Relations at the district meeting in Willcox. The FHA also sent ten Christmas CARE packages to men in Berlin, four of them in the Russian Sector. Other officers for the year are: Barbara Baldenegro, vice-presidentg Wanda Johnson, secretary, Norma Ruiz, treasurer, Macia Devere, his- torian. Miss Orpha Rose is FHA sponsor. 32
