The PROSPECTOR STAFF succeeded this year in publishing an annual considerably larger than in past years. Also much of the photography work was done in the new dark room with new photo- graphic equipment. All the work was done in the new publications room. The art work adds much to the book. The yearbook is always published by the Senior Class under the supervision of Miss Schaffer, publications advisor. The FHA was very active this year under the leadership of Esther Montijo, the president. They held their annual Christmas Dance and Sweetheart Ball. Frances Rosen was elected District Chairman of Public Relations at the district meeting in Willcox. The FHA also sent ten Christmas CARE packages to men in Berlin, four of them in the Russian Sector. Other officers for the year are: Barbara Baldenegro, vice-presidentg Wanda Johnson, secretary, Norma Ruiz, treasurer, Macia Devere, his- torian. Miss Orpha Rose is FHA sponsor. 32
