Mrs. Lois Brott went to West- ern Montana College and re- ceived her BA in science and secondary education. This is her first year at Tolleson. lt's a friendly environment where the student and facul- ty are really nice. Ars. Elaine Campbell went to SCC and ASU where she re- :eived her BA. She's been were for two years. I feel hat TUHS has a wise variety if opportunities to cover the leeds of all students. Mrs. Lisa Bruckner attended the University of Wisconsin and stud- ied medicine and received her BA and MA. She has been teach- ing at Tolleson for six years. She feels that school spirit has im- proved greatly. Mr. Patrick Campbell received his education in the marines where he was a gunnery ser- geant. He's been at Tolleson for 14 years. He sponsors the drill team. Tolleson is a good grow- ing school, but the students could have a little more school spirit. Mrs. Janet Brukhardt went to Ball State University where she received her BS. She received her MS in sec- ondary education at ASU: she's been at Tolleson 14 years. She sponsors the Sophomore Class and the Hiking Club. Homework again! 'Qing 1 , si l 93 rl .': , Mr. Macario Candia received his BA at ASU. He's been at Tolleson five years. He sponsors M.E.CH.A. and in his spare time works at a retail store. At first I thought I was only going to be here a couple of years, but I enjoyed the students so much that I decided to stay. Mr. Richard Camacho attended Glendale Community College and ASU. He received a BA in education and a MA in geogra- phy. He has been at TUHS for four years. Mr. Camacho feels that Tolleson has a big improve- ment curriculum wise. which is keeping pace with the changes. Mr. Kevin Chaffee has been at TUHS for three years. He re- ceived a degree in Associate Sci- ence at Monroe Community Col- lege and a Bachelor of Science at Osevego State University in N.Y.. then finished his M.A. at A.S.U. FACULTY Mrs. Jan Adams received a BS. from Pacific University, also went to Portland Community and Portland University. This is her third year at Tolleson. It's a super school with great kids, staff, and administration, lt's come a long way. Mrs. Mary Benjamin has her BA from Sacramento. This is her second year at TUHS. She feels that the majority of students are great and are a joy to work with. This year she became Depart- ment Chairperson of the Phys- ical Education Program. 164 Mr. Ralph Anderson received his BS. at Bradley University and is a retired Lt. Col. from the air force.Thisis histhird year at Tol- leson. He owns and flys his own Piper Cherokee. Tolleson is the up and coming high school on the west side. We have a good student body, good faculty and staff and good leadership. Mr. Fred Bennett went to U of A and received a BA in agriculture and horticulture. He's been here eight years, and sponsors FFA. In his spare time he's a bee keeper. I feel this is an excellent high school with good active extra- curricular activities and clubs. Mrs. Win Angeline received her bachelors and masters degree form St. Johns University. This is her third year at Tolleson. She enjoys running, biking, garden- ing. and walking. But best of all she enjoys driving over roads here in the southwest. The up- dating ofOld Main, the new class- rooms, the new sports complex -allthese things make Tolleson -in Mr. William Bentley received his BA and MA from ASU. He's been here ten years. lt's grown a lot in a positive manner, it's a much better campus than ten years ago. Mrs. Jan Bean got her B.S. ir Home Economics Education a' University of Wisconsin Stout She received her M.S. in Adul' Occupation Education at Kansa: State University. She's beer here for three-and-a-half years She sponsors FHA and teaches part time at Phoenix college lt's improved since I started. Mr. Dave Brosius attended NAU and received his BA. He has been at Tolleson for six years and is also a professional motorcycle racer. When he was asked about Tolleson he stated, We contin- ued to grow in a positive way in- stead of a negative way. This is because of all the teachers, stu- dents. and administration.

FACULTY Mr. Ed Cooper attended Prescott College and ASUg he has a BA and is currently working on his MA. This was his Llthyr. at Tolle- son, as Wolver-Newsadvisor. He feels that Tolleson has had an amazing change like black to white. Mrs. Charlotte Dehos attended the State University at Buffalo. She now holds a BSand MS in Art Education. This is her fifth year here. 166 Mr. Ken Cummings went to the University of Alaska, Anchorage and ASU. He holds a BA in educa- tion. This is his 6th busy yr. He has been busy by sponsoring the senior and junior class, and as the Department Chairman of So- cial Studies. Mr. Phillip Dennete received his BA at Pittsburg State College. He has been here 13 years. He spon- sors V.l.C.A. fthe Industrial Trade Arts Clubbandthe Number 1 Club. Mr. Tom Dahl was enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he received his BS in ln- dustrial Education. He has been here for two years. He feels lt's a nice place to work and teach. Miss Christie Elder entered Fort Hayes State University and Wich- ita State University to receive a BS and MS. In herfouryears she feels: I really like itmore, other- wise l wouldn't be here. Mr. Jerry Dougherty entered Phoenix College, ASU and NAU, and has a BA and MA. This is his 16th year here. When asked about Tolleson he stated: We have a lot less problems than anyplace else. Ii. Mr. Phil Evans attended State University of Brockport and Rochester Institute of Technol- ogy to receive his BS and his MS. He has been here for three years. and feels lt has improveo drastically. . .more of unity thar there was before.
