CLASS POEM Here's the class Cassanova, he's one we call Ace. As the man about town he sure sets the pace. Richard is the one who is next on our list. I hear Phyllis D. finds him hard to resist. Phyllis Boldt takes to the trail with her horse and guitar, When she isn't busy souping up Robert's car. I heard long ago Tony wore corduroy pants In hopes that Joyce Zenor he could entrance. Sharla C. looks upward and says Ah, DuPreg But I'm sure it's not prayers that she's planning to say. He's short but he's brawny and every inch of him man, Iusttryto replace Bill H. if you can, A butcher he is and a fire fighter he will be, Freddie Rayman's ambitious I am sure you'll agree. Betty Seidel admits that a bum gardner she will be, ' Keith'l1 do the hoeing, she chuckles with glee. About Dick Skala there is much I could tellg He keeps the road hot between here and Grinnell. Her brown eyes do sparkle and she has brown curly hair, But Alice Dixon keeps mum about Dick Chizek and Traer. These two handsome lads are quite definitely pals. Laurence and Jim, so I've heard, escort the same gal. Shirley Walton has been most helpful in her own quiet way, And helped to bring much pleasure to each hour of the day. He doesn't drink - he doesn't smoke, but he does go with girls, Brian R. has an interest in the one with blonde curls. Joan Sichra is quite new but she's grown very dear, And we're glad that she found us and joined us this year. Speed Wilkerson and his Rambler have only 9 points to go, When going to get Lola, he'd better go slow! If she's short, blonde, and gabby, It's Put-Put Bidwell, What's more she'l1 soon wed - or so I've heard tell. John K's interest in anatomy quite touches the heartg Add the words SWEET or GOOD and you've guessed from the start The statement is obvious altho it is terse, Linda Reed, I am sure, will make a fine nurse. I am sure it's his crew cut and his quizzical smile That Squirrel Christensen finds it easy the girls to beguile. Toad Heller you might guess would give ANYONE wartsg How Denny K. has escaped might fill several reports. Two names I could couple and you know who I mean. If I said one is Donna, then the other is Gene. As the class sleeping beauty, Buddy Whalin wins the prize, He spent most of his day a 'resting his eyes. He stares into space and he thinks and he thinks. We may call Butch Kucera our study hall Sphinx. Phyllis Stevens is the only one that I really know Who can tell Denny K. where to head for and go. Here's a boy who's called Skip and from school he played hookey. Sleuth Van Langen found it out and kept Skip in the pokey. Shirley Gommels is the one who is next on our list. Her shy smiles and her dimples are quite hard to resist. Connie Novak, so I hear, has it really quite cool. Paul Mason will drive by and bring her to school.

When she stands, take a look, I most earnestly beg. There's no reason why Carol C. should be called Spatsy Legs ? Dale Edberg conquered Lit. by means of osmosis - Ihope he stays awake long enuff to hear this. When Chef Muckler yells loudly Go get me Moore. We aren't surprised to see Marsha come thru the door. He's at the controls - now comes the count down. With the speed of a rocket, Leonard tears out of town. Connie sparkles and bubbles like a glass of champagne. But the touch of her hand will sooth many a pain. This egghead will argue from morning to night. Denny Kaisand will argue, if he's wrong or he's right. A look at this blue -eyed blonde is all that you need, To know Violet Joahnnsen could be called the class Swede. Papule Steve Lowe you'll agree is a card. You'll also agree he buys his shoes by the yard. Eddie Mc throws spit wads and he once made home brew, Tho it was potent and strong, it was really taboo. When Pauline was asked if she likes mutton or ham, She smiled and she winked and she said, I'll take Lamb. On his way home perhaps Castro Benner should stop At the place we all know as Jones' Barber Shop. There's nothing reserved about this debonair chap. Romeo Frisbie is a wolf all the girls want to trap. Angeline Sebetka is a quiet girl from the farm. Oft we'l1 think of her blonde curls and her soft-spoken charm. Judy Brones seems real quiet and has little to say, But I'll bet she's not quiet riding in that coupe. Joyce Zenor is narrow where a gal should be narrowg ls that why to her classmates she is known as Sparrow? Dave's enigmatical smiles suggest he's quite shy, But at chasing Clutier cowgirls he's really quite sly. She's a rock 'n roll fan . , a cool cat to the core. Pat E, soulfully sighs: Tommy Sands I adore. Wayne H. is long in more ways than one. From his feet to his head - but not when there 's work to be done Kathleen Karkosh is a girl who's full of giggles and jokes, True Romances keep her happy and also quite broke. She's blue-eyed and loquacious and is called Dorie Mae. She'll argue and argue even tho she has nothing to say. Jim Bryant it would seem to a harem does aspire. It's easy to believe for he sets hearts afire. Ihear a low rumble and I look to be sure, It's Merrill Mason and his Ford taking off with a roar. The gal with red hair we know can't be Topsy, So it must be the one the kids all call Potsy. There are many as nice and many as neat, But I'm sure it's Loretta D, who's especially sweet, Larry Y. and Dennis Zeman make an incomparable pair, Now argue that statement if you think that you dare. It is quiet Fred McDowell who is last on our list. With his diligent ways he is sure to be missed.
