CLASS PROPHECY I, Shirley Arnstutz, in the year 1958 holding the position of a Powers Model was asked to make a tour throughout the United States. T-he night before I was to leave on my tour I attended a party in the ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. The evenings entertainment was provided by the Philharmonic Orchestra. To my surprise I found that my fellow classmate from Tiro High, Gale Norris, was playing the piano with the orchestra. I started on my journey, my first stop was Chicago where I met Wilma jane who is now teaching after finishing her college training at Ohio State. In the evenings she sings at the Ring Side Night Club for extra spending money. Through Wilma jan.e I was informed that Naomi was also in Chicago holding the position as private secretary to Silas Grezdale, the famous criminal lawyer. Wilma jane, Gale, and I decided to drop in on Naomi. We found her at the office where she is employed. The next day I told my classmates that I had to proceed on my journey. I asked them to accompany me on my tour. They accepted. Our next stop was Indiana where Naomi was taken ill, so we took her to a famous specialist, Doctor Weir. To our surprise we found none other than Marilyn May holding the position as receptionist for the doctor. Marilyn was starting her vacation the next day so we invited her to travel with us. - ' From Indiana we started out to the west coast. We were on the train when we read in the paper that john Pearce and his professional basketball team were playing in Salt Lake City. I We all decided to drop in on john and talk over the good old days . Upon arriving there, we found john at one of the big schools, When we had a chance to say a few words to him, he told us that he was leaving the next day for California. We told him that was where we were going so we decided to all travel together and renew some of our old memories. When we started discussing some of the old times, we discovered that our whole class but Elwood and Donna were now altogether after all these years. John then told us that Elwood was also in Salt Lake City prize fight- ing, that he had participated in a fight two weeks before, and that perhaps he would travel on out to the coast with 'us for a vacation. After looking around for Elwood a half of day, we found him at the Steler Hotel whereghe was staying. He asked us to dine with him that evening, so we all dined to- gether. After dinner that evening, we noticed a newspaper write-up telling that Donna had been chosen mother of the most typical American family. So we left the next morning via airplane to fly to Hollywood, California to visit Donna and her remarkable family. During our stay with Donna and her little ones, we read in the Tiro World that there was to be a dedication of the new Empire State Building in the now large city of Tiro, Chio, which has grown out to meet all the surrounding towns combining all into one large metropolis. We immediately got reservations for the next train leaving for Tiro. After the dedication ceremony, we all went to the Ritz restaurant for our last lunch together. Looking across the booth, we recognized Mr, and Mrs.p Hanline having lunch. 'We waved, they joined us, and we all had a wonderful time.
