CLASS POEM Miss Tiro 47 was Marilyn May, She has a great future to that you may lay. Wilma Kessler, is going to college next fall, She'l1 be a grade teacher, and loves children all. Elwood Fried, loves all sports, especially ball, The best on the team, without hirn we'd fall. Naomi Magers, a student with aim, Very often is ,found at a basketball game. john Pearce is tall dark and a right nice guy, Although they like hirn from girls he'1l shy. Donna Orewiler I hear sure does get around, At night, people say, she can never be found. Shirley Amstutz, the homemaker of our class, In her Home EC. we hope she will pass. Gale Norris worked on this with most of his time. And it certainly does sound it for the words don't rhyme

OUR IDEAL GIRL Our ideal girl would have these features--the height of Donna Orewiler, weight of Wilma Kessler, length and color of Shirley Amstutzfs hair, and the natural curl of Donna Orewiler's hair. She also would have the pleasing voice of Marilyn May, personality of Shirley Amstutz, singing ability of Wilma Kessler, hands of Naomi Magers, dating ability of Donna Orewiler, complexion of Marilyn May, winning smile of Shirley Amstutz, Marilyn's ability to play the piano, Naomi's ability to cook, Wilma's sports ability, Donna's eyes, Wilma's teeth, Naorni's teasing ability, and Shirley's laugh together with the longing friendship of Naomi Magers, the grades of Wilma Kessler, the figure of Shirley Amstutz, the neatness of Donna Orewiler, and the good nature of Naomi Magers. Last but not least, she would have the kindness charm, and grace which every Senior girl possesses. OUR IDEAL BOY A lf we, the senior girls, were to pick boys with outstanding virtues, it would be the senior boys of 48 ! Our ideal boy would have these features--the height, smile and sense of humor of Elwood Fried, the build and hair of john Pearce, and the eyes a.nd laugh of Gale Norris. . Our ideal boy would not be complete without the bashfulness of all three, the basketball ability of Elwood and john, Gale-'s ability to play the piano and cheerlead, the farming ability and knowledge of Elwood and john, and the scholastic ability of Gale. Last but not least, he would possess the personality and good habits of all three boys.
