VENTURE TO 2010 A.D. ... TAMMY HILL beat the world record of 101 Dalmations with 102 Dalmations ... and 6 cats which she trains for the Seniorsarit circus. Keeping the cats in top-notch condition are BA-BETTE LADUE and STEVE FORKAS who feed, clean, and empty the litter box. It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it! Across the grounds we spot karate champion JANET ROSS flipping her sensei, GREGG CHAPPELL. Standing in the sidelines is karate student, JOHN STAN-DREWS, asking himself, “How did she do that?” Taking a quick glance to the right we see PENNY BADKE and JENNIFER MERO talking their best shot at the dunking tank. And who should we find in the middle of the tank but our own SEAN BRESETT. When asked by reporter, FAWN VRADENBURG, why he took this job, SEAN replied smugly, I happen to look great in a bathing suit.” In the tent next door we find fortune teller, JO BAILY trying to convince SHAWN RIPER that “yes” he will become a priest in 6 years. In the far corner we see JERRY RYAN and JANE GREENOUGH, the tallest man and woman in the world. And taking up quite a lot of space is fat lady HEATHER WOODS, who after graduation gained a whopping 309 pounds and is still rising. We used to have a bearded lady until we found out it wasn’t a lady at all but KYLE BARBER. Tied to a solid oak post with stainless steel chains wrapped around her is escape artist LORI LAFOUNTAIN who, for the first time in her life, is totally confused. Because of their frightening appearance, we forced to cage up madmen JERRY PEETERS, MATT DONOVAN, and KLEIN LOWELL. Surrounded by cheering fans our demolition derby drivers TODD CARR, CRAIG GUDIKUNST, ALBERT CONTOIS, BILLY UPRIGHT, and female driver, STEPHANIE FITZGERALD start their engines. After 15 minutes of hectic driving, our clean up crew, TONY and LEON WOODARD, start dragging away the totalled chevy’s as JAMES MONROE announces the winner, STEPHANIE FITZGERALD, congratulations Steph! Serving soda to our thirsty drivers is vendor GREG HUGHES who in all his years as a vendor has never failed to spill on his costumers. As the center of attention we have body builders, MATT GUYETTE and DARRYL MCKEOWN lifting their maximum of 50 pounds; and cheering them on is Dallas Cowboy cheerleader ROBIN TRUDEAU and her husband NORMAN SIBLEY. Roaming the area is TAMMY BARBER trying to pedal her pet rabbits to our unsuspecting JIM SNYDER. For the hungry people we have JILL CONNORS making her world famous bread dough with the assistance of dough boys, SHAWN CONNERY and SCOTT MOORE. On one of our stages is the theatre production, Snow White, directed by BETH GOUGH with music by soundman DARREN OSIER. As the play opens, we see EVIE CEMBALSKI as Snow White while entering from the right are our 7 dwarfs; JEFF BENNETT as Bashful, RICHARD LATOUR as Sleepy, STEVE WOODS as Grumpy, ROBBIE GAUTREAU as Happy, TOM BESSETTE as Doc, PETE THOMPSON as Sneezy, and tagging along is STEVE STRICKER as Dopey singing their version of “whistle while you work,” which goes like this: “Hi ho hi ho it’s off to a party we go ...” and don’t forget the wicked witch played by ROBERTA CONNORS and the handsome prince, TODD DIXON. On our stage is the theatre production Cinderella directed by DAVE FRASIER. The cast includes KIM LIVINGSTON as Cinderella, LIZ MONTBRIAND as the fairy god mother, JENNIFER JZYK as the wicked step mother, JOANNE STORMER and JANET SPENCER

playing the wicked step sisters and our very own prince charming played by ROB CARR. The mice CHRIS LEE, CHARLIE MESSIER, SUE CROSS, LISA MARS, TANIA MATTISON, and DONALD CAREY also contribute greatly to the play. Next, we move on to the Big Top, the main attraction. We were able to get in free since the ticket sellers, KAREN CURTIS, and TANYA DONOVAN were too busy talking. So much for hard work. Inside we hear a huge commotion going on and out sneaks MIKE HUESTIS and PETER STONE, the elephant scrubbers. Being our curious selves we walk around the corner and see SHANON BACKUS, the elephant trainer in a rage. Apparently, someone or something has stolen 2 tons of peanuts from the shed. Well, I’d say that this is a job for detective CHRIS LAPOINTE and his trusted deputy, JOE GONYEA. While they are working on the case of the missing peanuts, we hear the circus beginning. As were taking our seats the lights dim, and in the spotlight below we see DAVE VONKOENIG-SECK, our ringleader, introducing the acts. Looking overhead we see RICHARD WILLIAMS riding a uni-bike across a tightrope with LISA HENRY on his shoulders. I always knew he’d be a star! And out from an opening in the wall come 2 horses owned by MICHELE IVES, led by ANDY RUSSELL and danced on by KATHIE SIMPSON and JULIANNE HUGHES. Something must be funny, because 3 rows behind us there is a family of 7 hysterically laughing. Taking a closer look, we see that it’s TONY O’HARA and KIM YAW with their 5 children. Also in the stands is AMY BUTLER taking notes on the trapeeze artist as she is in mid-air at a 45 0 angle before doing a double twist switch grip. Let’s hope trapeeze artist MARINA BARNABY doesn’t get nervous over this. Hanging from the center of the ceiling spinning by their hair is MARIA RUTKOWSKI and CRYSTAL FRAMENT, and across the tightrope comes HEIDI MILLINGTON and LORI SNYDER Oh,Oh. Crystal bumped Heidi and Heidi fell off. Guess she’ll have to report to nurses ADDIE HOLMAN and LORI GRANGER. While custodians WALT WITORKO and SCOTT FREDERICK clear off the floor for motorcycle stunt man JAMES BELDEN, our clowns, will entertain us. First out are, you guessed it, MIKE GRANEY, BOB PORTER, and JASON DOLBECK still wearing the same clothes, of course. But let’s give most of the credit to KIM CONDON, their costume designer and KARI GRAY, their beautician. Also out there are jugglers, JOANNE WOODARD and MICHELLE GOETSCH. In a corner FAWN PUTNAM, is performing her yoga and clown, HELEN GAUGER, is just acting ... like herself. While ANDY HARRINGTON is being shot out of a cannon, BETH WELLS will take the pleasure of pulling the cord. Providing the music we have TINA SIGNOR singing “FAME” accompanied by BONITA DETWEILER on the piano. Because they’re so sought after we appointed LEONARD RUTH and MATT WHITFORD as their bodyguards. Well that’s all. NO, wait! here comes detective Chris and Deputy Joe and by golly they’ve caught our peanut thief ... it’s ... STEVE ROCKHILL? One more thing, all of this was seen by the eyes of roving reporters RENEE DEDRICK and CHERYL COBB who will be running down Calkins St. away from all the seniors who want to kill us for printing this. So much for progress! By; Renee Dedrick
