CdRILLON 1975 Miss Rutherford There are so many things we would like to say but cannot. Thank You is just not enough for all the help and guidance you have given us these past four years. We wanted you to have more than just a gift or a thank you from us. In doing so, we dedicate this book to you, giving you something permanent to show how much we have appreciated your help. We hope this letter will keep our memories with you in the years to come. Cry to. Talk to He was a friend To laugh with. Cry with. Party with He was someone who shared our Good times. Bad times. Sad times And he was someone we Loved, Respected, And will miss for a very long time. Audas was our friend, our classmate, our ally. And to those of us who grew up with him, he was more than that. He was a very special person to be remembered with joy. What little we knew of someone close and yet so far away. What was he? A loner? Maybe to some Wandering silently. Thoughts only he knew. A prodigy? Full of silent thoughts Kept inside to grow Or was he just tall, dark, and shy? Maybe But maybe he was neither. What is felt cannot be written for all to understand. But Mark Berube, known and unknown shall remain in our minds and hearts. A very special friend. %tk 4d lo lOti hfcor) A± '± b 2- 2ld g g-coci in 5 t-b per-iodi Hope -to o«- H c r y 'f see, in -kbe. s omr er, -I k o - CVoo and yoor l J lJ I b-aoCt occi 50kmh , —J t_n0(O —1 oOt 11. t R ho6X LOoMfUO %«- , TrtfcE c«t SPORTS c 0£_ i £- £ Tid A-a-to kad J I fv A r . And you may have also found out that kids from Austria are pretty much the same as you are. I do love your country; it is certainly different from my home-country. I enjoy all my courses at school. It is something other than taking approximately fourteen mandatory courses a year, as I did at home. The activities after school are my favorites; my school does not have anything like that. This year, together with you in Ticonderoga, is such a great experience for me, as it would be were you visiting a foreign country. BOdRD Of GDUCdTION Dr. James Walsh has served as a member of the Ticonderoga Board of Education since 1953, and has presided at meetings as board president since 1971. His entire life has been devoted to the service of others. Dr. Walsh began his practice in our community in 1935. Many a child brought into this world by him has since graduated from our schools and gone on to play a successful role in life. Shortly after the outbreak of World War II, Dr. Walsh entered the Army Medical Service (1942) and rose to the rank of Colonel. Dr. Jim is as familiar a figure at our local mill, as he is at Moses Ludington Hospital and at the head of the board table. His reputation for fairness and sound judgment is sought after by countless groups. Dr. Walsh has always been particularly concerned about the youth in our community and his service on the school board has been a constant record of improving educational opportunities for our students. Enrollments have increased, the new Elementary-Middle School was built and equipped, and new and exciting programs have been introduced. Through it all this veteran board member has guided events and played a most vital role in making this community a better place to live. 119 STUDENT DIRECTORY JAMES ABARE-track 1,2 track manager 3 intramural basketball 2,3,4 intramural hockey 3 MARIE ABBOTT-girls basketball-j.v. 1 cheerleading-j.v.-varsity 1,2,3 prom committee 3 junior model 3 prom court 3 softball extra murals 1 volleyball intramurals 2 american red cross blood drawing 1,2,3 young adults club 2,3 BONNIE ALLEN-drama club 1 band 1,2,3,4 band-secretary-treasurer 4 chorus 3,4 prom committee 3 yearbook staff 3,4 cheerleading-varsity 3,4 cheerleading-captain 4 gymnastics 3 american field service 4 junior model 3 junior miss contestant-2nd runner-up 4 volleyball intramurals 2 softball 4 essex country music festival 1,2,3,4 newspaper staff 4 school play cast 4 BETHANY BARBER-vol ley ball 2 prom committee 3 drama club 1 newspaper staff 4 american red cross blood drawing 3,4 DONALD BARBER- key club-secretary 1 key club-treasurer 2 key club-president 4 key club-board of directors 1,2,3,4 varsity club 2,3,4 track team 1,2,3,4 cross-country team 3,4 business club 1,2 prom committee 3 french club 2 band 1,2,3,4 band-vice-president 4 all county band 3,4 all county chorus 1,2,3 chorus 1,2,3, american field service 4 outing club 4 drama club play 4 LINDA BARBER- softball 2 prom committee 3 drama club 1 CHRIS BARRON- class officer 1,2,3 national honor society 3,4 american field service 4 latin club 2 french club 4 varsity club 3,4 yearbook staff 3 layout editor 4 drama club 1,2 basketball 2,3,4 softball 2,4 STEVE BARTLETT-football 1 basketball intramural 3,4 BOYD BELDEN-track 1,2 prom committee 3 KELLY BENNETT-band 1,2,3,4 gymnastics 1,2,3,4 volleyball 2 cheerleading 3 drill team 3 outing club 2 essex county music festival 2,3,4 prom committee 3 french club 2 drama club 1,2 junior miss contestant-talent award 4 KEVIN BENWAY-football 3,4 baseball 2 french club 2 prom committee 3 MARGARET BESSON-band 1,2,3 prom committee 3 drama club 1 DAVID BIGELOW-football 1,2 student senate 2 drama club 1,2,3 chorus 1,2 essex county music festival 1,2 prom committee 3 national honor society 3,4 BONNIE BLAISE transferred 4 yearbook staff 4 newspaper staff 4 national honor society 2,3,4 BILL BROWN basketball 1,2,3 football 1,2,3 yearbook staff (ass't editor) 4 drama club 1 track 1 junior one-act plays 1,2 chorus 1,2,3 essex county music festival ANITA CHARBONEAU prom committee 3 prom court 3 volleyball 1 track 2 DORCAS CHARBONEAU softball 3 soccer capt. 4 varsity club 3,4 volleyball 1 PATRICIA CHARBONEAU gymnastics 3 soccer 2 prom committee 3 junior one-act plays 2 intramural volleyball 2 PHYLLIS CHARBONEAU 120 basketball 3,4 softball 3,4 varsity club 3,4 MARK CHARLTON french club 2,3,4 french club (sec.) 2 essex county chorus 1,2,3 all-state chorus 2 afs 4 chorus 1,2,3,4 RICK CLARK chorus 2 essex county music festival 2 junior one-act plays 2 outing club 2,3,4 PAUL CONNERY band 1,2,3,4 cross-country 3 key club 1,2 track 1,2,3 football 1 essex county band 2,3,4 TIM CONNORS football 1,2,3,4 track 1,2,4 intramural basketball 3 intramural gymnastics 1,2,3,4 DONNA J.
