I-IIS ORY N Four years ago, the class of 1951 entered the halls of Ticonderoga High School To the casual eye, they seemed merely a group of ordinary boys and girls, well dressed, reasonably good looking, and badly Avy I frightened lcvwpk During the first week, the Freshmen suffered much inconvience -' because of their unfamiliarity with the new country and its traffic rules They were forever taking the wrong turning, going down the wrong stairs, and arriving at their class rooms late They were permitted to form an organization of their own and elected the .5 51 following officers, all of whom fulfilled their duties well Presi Y L dent DAVID BURROUGHS, Vice President JOANNE DULIN, Secretary Z7 C W X RUTH ANN FIELDS, and Treasurer JOAN MINER The organization of the Sophomores was as follows President JOANNE DULIN, Vice President DAVID BURROUGHS, Secretary JOAN MINER, and Treasurer NANCY KIRWAN The most important function of our Sophomore year was the Twirp Dance We also had a class J sunner, a food sale, and a raffle Our Junior year was a year of hard work With great pride and joy we received our Junior rings We had three one act plays entitled YOUTH ADDS A DASH OF PFPPER, THE BISHOP'S CANDL STICKS, and RING TJICE FOR CENTRAL The important social event was our Junmor Prom fashioned Southern garden All in all, we enjoyed an exciting year under President TOMMY THOMDSON, Vice President JOANNE DULIN, Secretary JOAN MINER, and Treasurer JACK OVURSTREET And now we come to our fourth, busiest, and greatest year in the history of our class Our leaders are President B TTY KAY JOHNSON Vice President JOANNE DULIN, Secretary BETTE POTTER, and Treasurer JOAN MINER In January we held our Senior Play, THE BRAINSTORM Je raised money for our Senior trip by selling candy, cards, raffle tickets, and putting on a Senlor Dance The most ambitious and determined activity was the publishing of our Yearbook This took countless hours of committee work in compiling material, selling ads, and finally editing the book The most important event that we have looked forward to for four years is our Senior Trip which we plan to take to New York City E We are grateful to our Superintendent, Mr Nash, our Principal, I f Mr Burroughs, and to all the teachers we have had in these years who have been so patient and understanding in their guidance We shall cherish all the memories which will drift back reminding us of our good old days in Ticonderoga High School ,qx sf er YEAR 500K 'W N' Y VJ L21 -1' 1 an ,ffef-myffi, - -,,-:--... 5' C ,ffg c i -':-I 'A hay 12?-, QC E at 'A ' 3 J 9 .
