' The Admiral is responsible to Commander Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet and. Commander Antisubmarine Warfare Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet in fulfilling their directives. I . I The Staff provides preliminary plans and directives to all participating units prior to commencement of an operation, exercises command and control over tactical forces assigned, and coordinates and evaluates all information received. At the conclusion of an exercise or operation, the Staff coordinates inputs from participants and produces the post-operation report. Organized under the Chief of Staff are four divisions- Administration, Intelligence, Operations and Communications. Most of the Staff Officers are aviation officers, though there are several surface and one subsurface Officer on board. The Flag Allowance includes personnel in the QM,.AG, RD, SD, AW, YN, RM, EN, PN, DM, and BM ratings in addition to Marine Orderlies assigned to the Admiral and Chief of Staff.
