1 Goddesses Karen Gibbs and Leslie Scott and god Hal Swagel, look out in the crowd to try to select students to take part in their certain activity. 2 Chris Winkler and Val Dollman compete in the arm wrestling con- test at the Amphi-Theater during Greek Day which was held by junior English classes. 3 The Air Force helicopter was just one of the dis- plays the Air Force had at THS on Sophomore Career Day. Junior English Classes highlighted Greek Week by rep resenting mythological gods and goddesses . This was planned at the end of a two month study of mythology . Greek Week was held from No- vember 11 until November 16 Students in English 5-6 clas- ses selected gods and goddess es from among themselves . There were 10 gods and god- desses altogether. All three classes find learning is fun Student Life 10

Carl Riney opens the election assembly, while Janie Foster and Rhonda Webster look over their speechs, 2 Students running for office, wait patiently to be introduced. Amy Bruder finishes her ballots as Kathy Tviet watches the sophomore box, Friday, October 12, stu- dents filled the amphitheater to vote for their choice of candidates running in the second student body election. Jeff Patton was elected Stu- dent Body President, after a run-off between Bob Hun- sick and write-in Jerry Gil- more , Also there were three run-offs for the office of Chief Justice, since none of the candidates had a majority of votes . 12 Student Life
