Thunderbird Hi h School's first was certain y an excitin one. just like e ing e se in lif , it ha its ups and downs. in spite of the long afternoon sessions at Moon Valley, the long rides home after dark on a crowded bus, the major feeling of the year was one of eager anticipation. Both students and teachers anxiously awaited the move into the new school. Even constant delays in the construction seemed to heighten the anticipation rather than cause disappointment. Truly the year was eager and exciting-- full of firsts. Who could forget the first game, the first dance, the first election of officers, the first meeting of each new club, the first issue of the newspaper, the first play, or the first day in open concept? Wethe yearbook staff worked many long hours to bring you a memorable first issue of the WARRIOR. We hope you will enjoy it this year, turn to it and cherish it in later years . Dara Hartnett .
