HAIFA, ISRAEL The Wailmg Wall THORN arrived in Haifa in the morn- ing of the twenty-ninth of April and became Flagship for Commander, TASK FORCE SIXTY, RADM Oliver. Haifa served as THORN's base of operations for Eastern Mediterranean exercises for the next two weeks. Haifa, a fairly indus- trial city, is only one hour away from Tel Aviv and a short trip from Jerusalem. Tours were arranged by MWR and the USO to help take advantage of our time in Israel.
