Commander Sellgren was commissioned July 14, 1961 from OCS. Fahey HANG TOUGH i USHARPLY PER EVERANTU MX Commander Fahey was born in Gary, Indiana on October 5, 1942. He attended the University of Illinois and subsequently recieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1966. He attended the Graduate School of Business Adminis- tration at Michigan State University prior to entering the Navy in 1967. Commander Fahey was commissioned April 5, 1968 from OCS. He was a member of Class 35 of the Naval Destroyer School. His tours include Nuclear Power School, Electronics Material Officer, USS BRUMBY QFF 104455 Engineering Officer, USS PARLE QDE 70853 Engineering Officer, USS EDWARD McDONNELLq QFF 104353 Assistant. Engineering Training Officer, Commander Naval Air Force Atlantic Mobile Training Team, and Main Propulsion Assistant, USS JOHN F. KENNEDY QCV 675. He is reporting to USS THORN from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School where he received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and was elected to, membership in Sigma Xi National Honorary Society.
