For the first time in over a year, many new faces are present as sopho- mores enter their first year of high school. Iuniors experience an excit- ing year ranging from the madness of magazine sales, along with the anxieties of receiving class rings, to last but certainly not least, the en- chantment that accompanies a Iunior-Senior Prom. For the confident seniors comes the end to a more or less secure phase of life. As they prepare to meet the responsibilities and challenges of a totally new lifestyle, the experiences and memories of high school years will remain with them. This year's GROWLER presents the NEW spirit at TSHS. As some old things are abandoned, new things take their place: A new school auditorium is being builtg a new recreation room is being used, and plans for a new athletic conference are being made. As we cling to memories of the old and familiar, the persistent new causes us to realize that only through end- ing can there be. . . . . . a new beginning. 5 ag ,5 - , ' E 1 Q , E A X a ucutzon lS1lf6 ltsel Iohn De HCAPIT L HILL" f -,Www Mr. Elmo Allgood Principal MAIN OFFICE ASSISTANTS: fFront Rowj C. Friend and Advisor. 81 November Zh, l976 Dear Friends, I was certainly honored to be asked to take part in your Miss Thomasville Senior High School contest. After reading and studying the activities and philosophies of life of each contestant, I realized what a fine representation of American youth exists at Thomasville Senior High. In making a decision, I was concidering several characteristicsg beauty, leadership, service, personality and scholastic achievment. Each contestant possesses these qualities and is obviously very special to have been nominated by the senior class. My congratulations and best wishes go to your new Miss Thomasville Senior High School, Jane Gilliam. -- Thank you again for this honor.
