This year's sixth grade enjoys reading whether it's classwork or just for fun. For a change of pace, the science class went on field trips to collect leaves for studying. Their end-of-the-year party was a day long picnic on the football field. They played softball, had relays, and gen- erally had a good time. tupper lefti The sixth graders sponsored a woman- less wedding to help raise money for the Hallo- ween Carnival. Top places in the junior High beauty review were ac- Q, quired by 7th grade girls. Several 7th graders also competed in the state track meet. To keep pace with modern trends, they learned how to find dry, liquid, and linear measurements in the metric system. They studied and even baked metric.
