A visit to the state capitol, a swimming party, and other activities were all part of the excitement of the year. Along with their regular studies they did two science projects, one on the human body and the other on leaves. I'll have to miss the Lost Saucer, but I'll change channels and 9:00 - Guess what! The Shazamflsis Hour is on. Mother is really mad now 10:00 - I wish I didn't have to go to town with Mom and Dad. just think what I'II be missing. l won't be able to see the Ietsons, Fat Albert, Speed Buggy, or even the Ghost Busters. When they find an empty pool of water it is instantly transformed into a water playground for screaming, playful chil- dren. Of course this summertime fun can take place in creeks, rivers, lakes and ponds as well as backyard or com- munity swimming pools. The exercise involved is only an after thought. Their main objective is splashing, racing, div- ing, playing pranks on each other and simply trying to out do one another.
