First Grade: A New Experience Getting up early, learning to read and write were only two of the new experiences awaken- ing the first grade students during their first year of school. In a sense the entire year was an unforgettable experience. Going to pep rallys, visiting the library, taking a tour of Thomasville, and meeting new people were all full of excitement and fun for the first grade.
