The 1975-76 faculty is one of the youngest the school has ever had but their age did not interfere with their ability to teach. In addition to teach- ing, they have devoted their spare time to helping the students with their extra activities. They play such roles as sponsors, coaches and advisors. The faculty has two new additions to their staff, Mrs. Donna Smith and Miss Carol Ann Colburn. Besides being the schools secretary, Donna spends a lot of her extra time doing odd jobs for the faculty and students. Miss Colburn is the new fourth grade teacher. She helps the fourth graders with many of their projects whether they are related to the school or not. Through student co-operation, this has been a good year for the faculty. They hope that the years to come will be the same. 82 Faculty list . .5 ,yf l UIC ip: -v,-V1.3 E, ' .- f. First Grade: A New Experience Getting up early, learning to read and write were only two of the new experiences awaken- ing the first grade students during their first year of school. In a sense the entire year was an unforgettable experience. Going to pep rallys, visiting the library, taking a tour of Thomasville, and meeting new people were all full of excitement and fun for the first grade.
