It consists of par- ents, teachers, and other inter- ested people. The PTFO has three money making projects - the Halloween Carnival, the five hundred dollar bill drawing, and the Spring Festival. .The Hallo- ween Carnival was the largest project which made over 56000. They made S2300 from the draw- ing andthe Spring Festival bought in 5950. Four meetings were held this year. A book fair held in Septem- ber was the first program on the calendar. Approximately two hundred books were donated to the library by parents and friends. The Christmas program pre- sented by all the elementary stu- dents was next on the agenda. Mrs. Downey played the piano for the program, which consisted of favorite Christmas carols. The third meeting was perhaps the highlight of the year. Students in grades four through twelve had prepared Bicentennial projects for six weeks and their work was on display. The first, second, and third graders entertained every- one with a play. Each child rep- resented one of the states in cos- tume and speech to help Uncle Sam celebrate his birthday. lt was a proud moment for parents, teachers, and students. At the final meeting new officers were elected to carry on the good work of a successful organtzation. PTFQ TT
