MUpVVHh PepandPHdeH This familiar chant was used by the Pep Club and that was exactly what the Pep Club did this year. They pepped up the team with banners, pep rallies, cheers, and even candybars. Each member had pride in the team still yelling whether win- ning or losing. A girl was selected every week for the spirit she showed and was given a spirit stick. At the end of the year, the girl that showed the most spirit throughout the year was cho- sen Miss Panther Spirit. This year the cheerleaders decided that Rita Champion, president of the Pep Club, earned this title. flower rightl The 1975-76 Pep Club members are tfirst rowl Linda Spring- field, Sharon Fendley, Rita Westbrook, Rita Champion, Denise Walker, Vicki Walker, Denise Digmon, Rene Parten, lsecond rowl jeannean Caddy, Liz Megginson, Ruthie Dunn, Angie Mor- gan, Gerri Lyles, Donna jackson, Wanda Walker, Kathy Dozier, tthirdl rowl Genie Hinson, Annette jones, Becky jackson, Donna Fiore, Dale Bed- well, Michelle Smith, Traci Lyles, Den- ise Wilson, Sherry Dixon, Shelia Fend- ley lfourth rowl LeDare Hull, Debbie Kay Wilson, Suzanne Stephens, Suz- ette Lewis, Karen Dozier, Colleen Young, Kim Cogle, Lynette Agee, Rhonda Brasell ififth rowl Lisa Armi- stead, ludy Webb, Carolyn C-addy, Kaye Smith, joAnn Sims, Kaye Bed- well, judy Robinson, Faye Bedwell, and Terri Lyles. iupper rightl Mrs, Ann Clanton, cheerleader sponsor, and Henri Presley stay with the Panthers during a downpour at jackson. tupper far rightl Rita Champion, Miss Panther Spirit, and jamie Morgan, think that Hat Day was a terrific spirit booster. f epfjlulg E I1 -:C ,uf Q, 49 1 if li:- 5 2 J l 'fx ' l e-f m ff Zire 5 J i 's-LL N 1 1 l il l
