E. in- structors, were volleyball, basket- ball, tennis, softball, cross- country, racing, soccer, and foot- ball. P.E. Encourages Stamina The P. E. program offered a new face to the regular routine. This new activity was track. The young track team proved their im- portance winning several dis- trict evengtsggd participation of team members inrstate 'compe- tition. jerry Champion proved to be a threat to many of the other mile-runners by placing high in state competition. jerry placed first in the mile- run in district competition. An- other outstanding runner on the team was Shelia Fendley. Shelia could hardly carry all the first place wins that she achieved in district competition. With achievements like this the young team has a very promising future. lupper rightl Kevin Boone took advantage of the school's new tennis courts by play- ing a game during P.
