With the approach of the base- ball season came the hopes of many wins few loses a dis- championship. These feats could only be accomplished by nine people filling such posi- tions as catchers pitchers and outfielders. The whole season depended on the abilities of these nine players. Like always something was lost in the translation, because the Panthers had few wins many loses, no district title and no suggestion of a state title.
