A sureness for driving away blues and boredom, the Spring Festival unfolded with happiness and laughter popping up all over the entire school grounds. The jacob's ladder, cake walk, bingo, fish pond, and horror movies were just a few of the attractions that drew much attention. After darkness fell over the merry festivities, everybody was drawn to the football field. There they settled down and listened to some good ole gospel singing. Everybody seemed to enjoy the singing and it was a perfect end for the 1976 Spring Festival l0IICIl llf ll II i11f'b11Q,11l611G11611C11f llfill ll 11511f111911QIIQ111?i1H011101101101191101101101101IOIIOIIOIIOIIOIIOIIOIIO TL Spring Ff stu nl

M ix ,.. , .un-v.,-..-...,. NNRWKWQWX , .. ,, ,. V.,. . ,W ,lj Every year on a brisk October day, the Thomasville Academy Halloween Carni- val is held. The 1975 Carnival proved to be the most successful one yet, With the help and assistance of all the local folks a little flavor was added to an other- wise dull weekend. This year the carnival had an added at- traction. At the coronation ceremony, Paul Revere suddenly appeared.. Two hundred years later he was still yelling his immortal words. Later the crowd was again visited by ghosts from the past. lchabod Crane and the Headless Horse- man were the two characters. Like each year before this one, everyone sadly left the games, rides, and carona- tion of the kings and queens, only to talk of the plans for the 1976 Halloween Carnival.
