At one time they couldnt stand to touch each other, but how they ve changed! Now their main interest is dating. The Sophomores really enjoy going out and having a cool time. A typical Saturday night includes the circle around Pruitt's and the D.Q. to see what's the latest happening. The main topic of conversation always revolves around who has a date with whom and who's going to be asked. The class has just begun to enjoy the privilege of dating and the funny, sincere feelings it brings to them. Many started the fall leading important roles as cheerleaders and football players, boosting the spirit and pride of the school. After football season, basketball, baseball and track filled the rest of the year with activities for the busy tenth graders. Various sophomores received honors such as Who's Who, Bicentennial Fair Winners, Harding College Representative, and Beauty Review Winners. Adding to the excite- ment of the year many tenth graders re- ceived their driver's license and began dating.
